Cost
Students are charged for materials only unless the materials are incorporated into a class fee (then there is no charge)
Employees are charged for materials or labor (when materials are provided by employees). The labor is $15 an hour. This charge directly benefits the Design Center and subsidizes the cost of materials.
Large Format Printing Costs
Matte Paper (24”–36” wide) $.40 an inch/length
Luster Glossy Paper (24”–36” wide) $.50 an inch/length
Canvas (24” wide) $.50 an inch/length
Laser Cutter
Glowforge Pro® can cut wood, cardboard, acrylic, leather and other materials up to 1/4" thick.
Can etch most materials, including metal.
Many materials are available at the Design Center—come check out the samples!
Use for making boxes, jewelry, etching metal, really the possibilities are endless!

Fabric Heat Transfer Sheet
$1.00 per sheet
Good for Dark Color Fabric and applications that require a very opaque (solid) color. Good for Letters/Simple Graphics, not photographs
Solid Color Sheet transfers the color to the fabric with a noticable tactile difference (you can feel where the “ink” is).
12" x 12" sheet
Student supplies the media (fabric, shirt, etc.)
Fabric Dye Sublimation
$1.00 per sheet
Full-color print for fabric that is best for complex designs with a lot of color and/or photographs.
Transfers the ink to the fabric with not noticable tactile difference (you can’t feel where the “ink” is).
8.5" x 11" sheet
Student supplies the media (fabric, shirt, etc.)
Mug Printing
$4.00 per mug (11 ounces)
Works for Both types of printing (Dye Sublimation & Heat Transfer)
